Geoff L. Hawkins, P.G.

 

 

 

 

 

Geoff graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering.  Upon graduation he went to work for Gearhart Industries, Inc. as an “Open Hole Logging Engineer” in north Texas.  His responsibilities included logging, well log analysis and interpretation. 

 

Geoff went to work in the environmental/geotechnical drilling business in 1989.  He managed several drilling companies and was a representative for several drilling rig manufacturers.  Geoff has extensive experience working in and around oil & gas facilities. 

 

Geoff joined PGH in 2005 as a Staff Engineer.  He has specialized in research and analysis of Railroad Commission of Texas records.  Geoff also prepares and files a wide variety of regulatory applications.

 

Geoff is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts (SPWLA) and the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES).  Geoff is a registered Professional Geoscientists (#3384) in Texas.
